CBJ TEAM NOTES

• CBJ fell in overtime for the first time this season, falling to 5-0-1 in OT/SO on the campaign (2-1 in shootout).
• Columbus stretched its home points streak to five-straight games with tonight’s shootout loss (4-0-1).
• With the shootout loss, CBJ have picked up points in six of the last seven home games of the series vs. the Ducks (5-0-2).
• The visiting team improved to 4-0-1 in the last five games of the series with each of those contests decided by a single goal.
• CBJ killed off Anaheim’s lone power play attempt tonight and have killed off all 25 of Ducks power play chances in the last 10 contests.
• The team has killed off all opponent power play attempts in 14 of the last 18 games since Oct. 31 (37-of-43 attempts; 86.0 pct.).
• The club is in the middle of a stretch of 13-of-16 games played against Western Conference teams from Nov. 18-Dec. 18 (9-4-1 vs. conference this season).

CBJ PLAYER NOTES

·        C Alexandre Texier stretched his points streak to three-straight games (2-2-4) with his ninth goal of the campaign.  He has recorded 7-5-12 in the past 16 games (overall 9-5-14 in 25 GP).

·        LW Eric Robinson set a career-best assist streak (3) and points streak (4, tied) with an assist on Texier’s first period goal.  He has points in seven of the last nine home games (1-6-7, overall 3-7-10 in 25 GP).

·        C Sean Kuraly tied his career long points streak with a point in his third consecutive game (2-1-3) after picking up an assist on Thursday.

·        G Elvis Merzlikins turned aside 25-of-26 shots in regulation/overtime, allowing one goal or less in a contest for the fourth time this season.  He stretched his home points streak to five-straight games (4-0-1) and is 9-1-1 at Nationwide Arena in 2021-22.
