STORRS, Conn. – The University of Connecticut football team has entered into an agreement to play two games against the University of South Florida during the 2023 and 2028 seasons, as announced on Tuesday.
The game in 2023 will take place on October 21 East Hartford, Conn. and the Huskies will travel to USF for the return game on September 2, 2028. USF owns a 12-5 advantage in the all-time series, dating back to both teams’ days in the BIG EAST and American Athletic Conferences. The Huskies won three-straight games against the Bulls from 2009-11, which included the 19-16 win in Tampa that clinched the Huskies’ spot in the 2011 Fiesta Bowl.
