Junior running back Jerome Ford was named the Orange Bowl Player of the Week after rushing for 189 yards and four touchdowns in Cincinnati’s 56-21 victory over UCF on Saturday. All four scores and 179 of his yards came in the first half as the Ford-powered Bearcats jumped out to 35-0 lead.

On the season, Ford, who is a two-time AAC Offensive Player of the Week, ranks second in the nation in touchdowns (12) and seventh in rushing (118.2).
