COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have extended qualifying offers to five players, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced Monday.

The qualifying offers were made to the following players:

Patrik Laine, Right Wing

Alexandre Texier, Center

Calvin Thurkauf, Center/Left Wing

Jake Bean, Defense

Andrew Peeke, Defense

The following players did not receive qualifying offers from the club and will become unrestricted free agents on July 28:

Kole Sherwood, Right Wing

Cliff Pu, Right Wing
