Prior to Friday’s game, the Yankees made the following roster moves:
- Placed INF Luke Voit on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to 7/13) with left knee inflammation.
- Recalled INF Chris Gittens (#92) from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
- Placed C Kyle Higashioka, OF Aaron Judge and INF Gio Urshela on the Covid-19 injured list.
- Signed C Rob Brantly (#62) and INF Hoy Park (#98) to Major League contracts and selected them to the 26-man roster from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
- Selected OF Greg Allen (#22) to the 26-man roster from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
