Cincinnati Bearcats wrap up Spring Football today with their annual scrimmage, 11:30 am

CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics will hold the 2021 Bearcats Football Spring Scrimmage Presented by Western & Southern on Saturday, April 17, 2021 inside Nippert Stadium.

The scrimmage will kick off at 11:30 a.m. ET with NIppert Stadium gates opening at 10 a.m.

The first 1,500 fans will receive a collectable spring football poster, courtesy of Western & Southern.

ICKETS
Capacity will be limited to the first 5,000 fans and people are asked to sit in pods of two in accordance with current University health guidelines. Fans will be required to pick up tickets to receive assigned seating. Tickets will be available for pick up Gate 2 (located on the east side of Nippert Stadium outside of Lindner Athletics Center) on April 17. Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
PARKING
• Pre-purchased parking is available in Calhoun, Corry and CCM garages for $5 and can be purchased in the University’s parking website.
• Parking will be $7 the day of the event.
• Tailgating will not be permitted.

CONCESSIONS
Concessions stands will be open. The W3, E1 and E2 stands are slated to be open along with hawkers circulating through the concourse.

STUDENT SEASON T-SHIRT PICKUP
Students who have purchase season tickets for the 2021 season will have an opportunity to pick up their commemorative Under Armour t-shirt. Pick-up will be located behind Section 114.

SPIRIT SQUADS
The UC Band, Cheer and Dance teams will be making appearances pre-scrimmage outside of Gate 2.

PHOTOS WITH BEARCAT
Fans will be able to take a photo with Bearcat throughout the scrimmage.

GOLDEN TICKET GIVEAWAY
Fans will be given a commemorative Pike-to-Binns bobblehead as they leave Nippert Stadium on Saturday. A select few winners will have a golden ticket inside their bobblehead box with special prizes!

ABOUT THE BEARCATS
Cincinnati finished 9-1 in 2020, winning the American Athletic Conference Championship and playing in its first New Year’s Six Bowl game in over a decade.

The 2021 roster projects to have nearly 40 local players who grew up and played high-school football in the tri-state area.
