OAKLAND, Calif. – The Oakland A’s optioned infielder Vimael Machín and outfielder Seth Brown to Triple-A Las Vegas, the club announced today.
Oakland now has 29 players in camp. That includes 28 players on the 40-man roster, which is at 39, and one non-roster invitee. The breakdown includes 16 pitchers, two catchers, seven infielders and four outfielders.
