FT. MYERS, FL – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have optioned catcher Ben Rortvedt, infielders Travis Blankenhorn and Nick Gordon, and outfielder Gilberto Celestino to the alternate training site.
The Twins currently now have 51 active players in camp (19 non-roster): 26 pitchers (9 non-roster), 6 catchers (3 non-roster), 9 infielders (4 non-roster), 9 outfielders (3 non-roster) and 1 designated hitter.
