COLUMBUS, Ohio-Duane Washington Jr. was named Big Ten Co-Player of the Week Monday after posting a career best 30 points vs. Michigan and averaging 25.5 points over two games last week, the conference office announced.
Washington Jr. made 18-of-27 shots from the field last week (.667) with 9-of-15 shots (.600) coming from 3-point range. He also made all six foul shots in a 92-82 win at Penn State and a 92-87 setback to No. 3 Michigan.
Washington Jr. is second in scoring for the Buckeyes (15.6 ppg.) and the leader in field goals (114) and 3-pointers made (66).
