COLUMBUS, Ohio –No. 7 Ohio State (15-4, 9-4) is back in action at 9 p.m. Monday at Maryland (10-9, 4-8) at the XFinity Center in College Park, Maryland. The game will be televised by FS1.

GAME BASICS

·       No. 7 Ohio State and Maryland play at 9 p.m. Monday in the XFinity Center in College Park, Maryland. FS1 will televise. The teams meet once this season.      

·       Ohio State is 9-4 in the Big Ten after defeating No. 8 Iowa in Iowa City Thursday (89-85).

·       Chris Holtmann’s teams are 2-3 vs. Maryland. The Terrapins lead the overall series 9-7. Maryland is 6-1 in College Park and 4-0 at the XFinity Center against the Buckeyes all-time.

·       When ranked among the Top 25 in the Associated Press poll, Ohio State is 2-1 vs. the Terrapins. Junior Duane Washington Jr. leads the Buckeyes with 12.3 points per game in four career meetings vs. the Terrapins.

·       Kyle Young played in his 100th game as a Buckeye when Ohio State tipped vs. Iowa last Thursday

·       Ohio State has won six consecutive games vs. Top 10 teams after the 89-85 over No. 8 Iowa. The Buckeyes also have defeated four-consecutive Top 15 teams on the road, a program record. The four wins over Top 15 teams also is a record for a single season in Ohio State history. Ohio State has five wins this season vs. Top 25 teams, the most of any team nationally.
