INDIANAPOLIS– Micah Parrish has been Nike® #HLMBB Freshman of the Week honors as the Horizon League announced its men’s basketball weekly awards on Monday.
 
Parrish averaged 12.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in a pair of Metro Series wins over Detroit Mercy, including Saturday’s game-wining bucket. Parrish scored a career-best 18 points to lead the Golden Grizzlies, going 70 percent (7-10) from the floor. The freshman also added eight rebounds and three steals in Saturday’s win. 
 
Oakland’s two wins marks the ninth-straight win over the Titans and the seventh-straight victory in Calihan Hall.
