Cristie Kerr shot a 67 to move to 4 under par. She is tied with fellow American golfer Brittany Lincicome and South Korea’s Amy Yang.

Sweden’s Susann Pettersen shot a 68 and was at 3 under par after failing to take advantage of her birdie chances on the last three par-five holes.

Also at 3 under is South Korea’s Sun Young Yoo, who added a second-round 72 to her opening round of 69.

Morgan Pressel of the United States birdied the first three holes and finished with a 6-under-par 66 to lead after Thursday’s first round of the Evian Masters. It was a cool and rainy day in Evian-Les-Bains, France.

Melissa Reid of England and Sun-Ju Ahn of South Korea each birdied the last hole to join her at the top of the leaderboard.

Reid finshed with eight birdies and two bogeys.

Reid, who is 22, won her first pro title back in May at the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open. However, this is a stronger field with Song-Hee Kim, Michelle Wie, Ai Mayazato, Susann Pettersen, Angela Stanford, Brittany Lincicome, Paula Creamer and Juli Inkster all competing.
