Eventhough Austin Dillon is 21 years old, he still has time to drive on the NASCAR Trucks circuit and go to college at High Point University in North Carolina.

On Friday, the grandson of NASCAR team owner Richard Childress, won the Camping World Truck Series championship by finishing 10th in the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Johnny Sauter won the race, which had to be called with 15 laps to go due to rain.

Dillon, who played in the 2002 Little League World Series in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, in his career has 4 wins in the Trucks series with 32 top ten finishes and 12 poles.

A youth baseball team from Saudi Arabia has received a spot in the Little League World Series after the squad from Uganda was denied a visa to the United States.

The Arabian-American team lost last month to the Rev. John Foundation team from Kampala, which won the Little League’s Middle East and Africa region and advanced to the World Series in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

However, the U.S. State Department last week said that some visa applications for the Ugandan players included birth certificates and records altered to make players appear younger.

Youths age 11 or 12 as of April 30 can participate in the Little League World Series.

Little League International has been advised by the United States State Department that the Little League team from Kampala, Uganda that won the Middle East and Africa Region (MEA) Tournament, earning a berth in the 65th Little League Baseball World Series, will not be given visas to enter the U.S.

Due to privacy concerns, the State Department did not give Little League International a reason for the decision, except that the documentation provided by the team contained discrepancies.

The Rev. John Foundation Little League of Kampala won the MEA tournament by defeating a team from Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, 6-4, in the regional championship game on July 16. That game was played in Kutno, Poland after which the Kampala team returned home to Uganda.

The Little League Baseball World Series in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania begins on august 18 and concludes on August 28. Sixteen teams from around the world play to determine the world champion at the end of Little League’s International Tournament, featuring more than 16,000 games in six weeks of play.
