The National Football League is doing its best to put excitement back into the Pro Bowl.

Last year, it was no longer AFC vs. NFC but instead, it was the Jerry Rice team against the Deion Sanders team.

The next Pro Bowl will have a new wrinkle as well.

The next game will be played at the site of the Super Bowl in greater Phoenix area of Glendale, Arizona.

The Pro Bowl will remain a week before the Super Bowl and the format will stay the same as last year.

The Pro Bowl will move back to Hawaii in 2016.

The New Orleans Saints to no one’s surprise have put the franchise tag on quarterback Drew Brees.

The move gives them exclusive negotiating rights with their Pro Bowl signal-caller for the next year.

He is without a doubt the key to the franchise in New Orleans.

Brees has been in lengthy contract negotiations with the Saints. Without the franchise tag, he could’ve became a free agent this week.

In the recently completed 2011 season, Brees set NFL records with 468 completions, 5,476 yards passing and a completion percentage of 71.2.

His passing talents have led New Orleans to an NFL record for total offensive yards in a season with 7,474.
