The New Jersey Devils are getting their All-Star goaltender back.

The 39-year-old was taken off injured reserve after being out of action for more than two weeks with a bruised right shoulder.

With Brodeur back in action, the Devils shipped Keith Kinkaid back to their Albany minor-league team.

Brodeur was hurt on October 13 trying to make a diving stop against the LA Kings in the first period. He finished the period and was replaced in goal by Johan Hedberg, who has been the starter in his absence.

Brodeur practiced with the Devils on Monday and might be in the lineup Wednesday when the team plays the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
