NBA admits referees made mistake in Clippers-Warriors playoff game

The National Basketball Association has announced that the referees blew a foul call late in the Game 1 Playoff contest involving the Los Angeles Clippers-Golden State Warriors.

In the Warriors win on Saturday, the call would have given the LA Clippers a chance to tie the score.

The call involved Clippers point guard Chris Paul who lost the ball out of bounds with 18.9 seconds to go in the game. Golden State was leading 107-105  and eventually won 109-105.

the NBA’s president for basketball operations Rod Thorn said in a statement that Draymond Green of the Warriors should have been whistled for a foul, which Paul would have been given a chance to shoot two free throws.
