The Minnesota Twins opened brand-new Target Field on Monday to the delight of  their fans who have been yearning for a new ballpark for years.

After almost three decades inside the Metrodome, the Twins moved outdoors and beat the Boston Red Sox 5-2 Monday with hometown star Joe Mauer in the first regular-season game at their new ballpark.
