It took James Buescher 76 races to win his first NASCAR Truck Series race when he took the SFP 250 in Kansas back in April.

It did not take him long to earn his second victory. Count it, four attempts!

The 22-year-old from the state of Texas led for 119 of the 150 laps, including the final 43, en route to winning the 2012 Camping World Truck Series UNOH 225 at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky.

It was his second win at Kentucky Speedway, having been successful at the track in the ARCA race in 2009.

He became the series’ first two-time winner of 2012. Finishing second was Brad Keselowski followed by Ty Dillon, pole-sitter Matt Crafton and Timothy Peters.

At the start of the race, the temperature on the track was 117 degrees, with air temps of 98. It was the hottest air temperature ever for a Kentucky Speedway event, bypassing the 88 degree temperature for the Indy Car race in 2004.
