Tennessee Titans take a chance on Randy Moss

The 2010 NFL season has been one of trials and tribulations for wide receiver Randy Moss.

He has gone from Foxboro, Massachusetts (Patriots), to Minneapolis, Minnesota (Vikings) and now to the home of country music and the Grand Ole Opry, Nashville, Tennessee.

The Tennessee Titans have claimed Randy Moss off of waivers because they didn’t want to take any risks with receiver Kenny Britt missing at least one game due to an injured right hamstring.

When Tennessee was the Houston Oilers, they passed on drafting Moss in 1998 because of concerns about his character.

The Titans, who are 5-3, are a half-game back in the AFC South with five division games left.

Head coach Jeff Fisher says that Moss gives their offense a huge upgrade.

The Minnesota Vikings decided to cut Moss on Monday, after less than a month in his second stint with the NFC North team.
