Mayweather beats Ortiz with knockout in 4th round

Floyd Mayweather Jr. remained unbeaten over the weekend by knocking out Victor Ortiz with his right hand late in the fourth round.

Mayweather shot the right hand into Ortiz and put him on the canvas.

It was the 42nd straight win for Mayweather as a pro fighter.

Tiger Woods’ endorsements are down by $22 million

Tiger Woods’ 2010 estimated endorsements are worth $22 million less than in 2009, according to several published reports of America’s highest-earning athletes.

Woods is still number 1 on the list, a ranking he has had for the past seven years. But his estimated total earnings of more than $90 million are down 30 percent from almost $128 million two years ago. Woods is at $70 million.

Fellow PGA Tour golfer Phil Mickelson comes in number 2 again with a total earnings of more than $61 million. His estimated endorsement income is $52 million.

Rounding out the top 10: Floyd Mayweather, Jr., LeBron James, Alex Rodriguez, Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, Derek Jeter, Peyton Manning and Dwayne Wade.
