Rookie EJ Manuel impressive in effort to be Bills starting QB; Buffalo beats Minnesota 20-16
Rookie EJ Manuel, a recent graduate from Florida State, continues to be impressive during the current NFL exhibition season as he led the Buffalo Bills to a 20-16 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
The 23-year-old who is 6’5, 237 pounder is very close to being named the Bills starting quarterback over veteran Kevin Kolb who has struggled all of training camp.
Manuel, playing the first half was 10 of 12 passing for 92 yards and a touchdown at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Kolb, who has been booed constantly by Bills fans during camp, played the second half and was 10 of 17 for 66 yards and an interceptions.
