Sports Illustrated has chosen basketball coaches Pat Summitt and Mike Kryzewski as their sportswoman and sportsman of the year.

The Hall of Famers are the winningest coaches in women’s and men’s college basketball.

The magazine, which is owned by Time Inc., said that the two coaches join John Wooden of UCLA in 1972 and Dean Smith of North Carolina in 1997 as the only college hoops coaches to be selected for the honor.

Summitt earned her 1,075th career win on Sunday.

Coach K on November 15 passed his menor Bobby Knight with his 903rd win.
