Reggie Johnson scored five of his career-high 27 points in the overtime period and Kenny Kadji canned 15 as the Miami Hurricanes upset seventh-ranked Duke on Sunday, 78-74.

Duke did not help themselves by missing all six free throw attempts in overtime.

The Hurricanes at 14-7, 5-3 in the ACC blew a 16-point lead and needed the extra period to win.

The win was Miami’s first at Cameron Indoor Stadium and only their second over the Blue Devils since they joined the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Seth Curry scored 22 points and freshman Austin Rivers added 20  for Duke who drops to 19-4, 6-2.

Miami is on its first four-game winning streak since 2008 and have won three straight ACC  road contests for the first time ever.

Number 1 Duke routed North Carolina-Greensboro 108-62 to give head coach Mike Krzyzewski sole possession of second place on the men’s basketball all-time wins list.

The Blue Devils were led by Kyle Singler with 27 points and Nolan Smith with 26 in giving the Hall of Fame coach his 880th career victory, before a crowd of 23,000 at Greensboro Coliseum.

Coach “K” moved past longtime North Carolina coach Dean Smith. That leaves Bobby Knight next on the list. Knight was his mentor and coached him at Army.
