Kyle Busch, Mr. Consistent as he is known by fans and media of NASCAR, won on Sunday for the second year in a row at Fontana, California’s Auto Club Speedway.

Always a threat to win any race, Busch had a wild two-lap sprint to the finish to hold off his older brother, Kurt, Kyle Larson and Tony Stewart.

He is the fifth different winner in five races in the Sprint Cup circuit this year.

Before the frantic finish, Jimmie Johnson was leading the race by a comfortable margin until he blew a tire with seven laps remaining. Then, Jeff Gordon took control until Clint Bowyer spun out causing a caution with two laps to go leading to an overtime finish.

Kyle Busch won his 29th career Sprint Cup race by using his veteran driving skills to block the 21-year-old rookie Larson to win an up-and-down race which saw 35 lead changes and several tire problems at the Auto Club 400.
