Blackmon, the Biletnikoff Award winner as the nation’s top receiver, set an NCAA record with his 12th straight game with at least 100 yards receiving and a touchdown. The talented and speedy sophomore caught nine passes for 117 yards in what could’ve been his last game.

In addition to his NCAA-record streak, Blackmon also surpassed former Pitt Panthers star Larry Fitzgerald for the most receiving yards by a sophomore.

Brandon Weeden was 25 of 41 for 240 yards for 11-2 Oklahoma State.

The game did mark the final game for Cowboys offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen, who is heading to Morgantown, West Virginia, to become the head coach-in-waiting at West Virginia.

Oklahoma State, the nation’s leader in total offense, never trailed and scored at least 33 points for the 11th time this season.

The Cowboys will now have to wait to see if their two best offensive players bolt for the big bucks of pro football.

Weeden and Blackmon are both on the projection boards as high NFL draft picks. Blackmon was chosen as the Big 12 offensive player of the year.

Arizona dropped to 7-6 on the season with their fifth straight loss to end the year.

Nick Foles completed 32 of 50 passes for 280 yards and a touchdown, but he suffered three interceptions, one was returned 62-yards for a touchdown by Markelle Martin.

The Wildcats had their chances early in the game, but on six possessions inside Cowboys territory in the first half and only could cash-in on one touchdown.

With Arizona playing in the game, the Pac-10 returned to the Alamo Bowl for the first time since 1994, ending a 15-year run with the Big 10. The Pac 10′s deal with the Alamo Bowl runs through 2013.
