It was just two weeks ago that he was hospitalized following a mild heart attack. The 54-year-old Ohio native was taken to the hospital early September 19 shortly after his team won a thrilling overtime win over Notre Dame.

Dantonio said he expects to be in the coaching box during the game.

Offensive coordiantor Don Treadwell  led the Michigan State 45-7  win over Northern Colorado last Saturday.

Dantonio’s heart attack brought to light the health hazards of being a high-profile coach. The high-stress jobs with long working hours causes coaches not to sleep, eat well or exercise.
