The Mifflin Punchers had their hands full with the East High Tigers Thursday night.

Mifflin needed a very strong fourth quarter to beat East for a second time this season, 69-61.

Earlier in the season at Mifflin, the Punchers held off the Tigers, 76-68.

The City North battle saw Mifflin go to 6-9 overall, 5-6.East drops to 2-15 overall, 1-10.

The East Tigers have two streaks going that they’d like to see go away in the wind. They have not won a game since defeating Linden 51-46 back on December 18 and have not won at home all season.

The game started out with Mifflin taking control early in the first quarter. Behind the play of Ashton Scott, the Punchers raced out to a 19-5 lead. East head coach Bob White
