Event Summary: http://www.nhl.com/scores/htmlreports/20182019/ES030113.HTM

  • Columbus won the first three games of a playoff series for the first time in franchise history.  The team had previously won the first two games in a series (vs. Washington in the 2018 ECQF).
  • Tonight was the second time that the Blue Jackets have scored a power-play goal in three-straight games in a playoff series (Apr. 23-28, 2014 vs. PIT).  Columbus went 1-for-2 on the power play tonight and is 4-for-8 in the series.
  • Ten different Blue Jackets have scored at least one goal in the series.
  • Tonight’s attendance was the third largest crowd at Nationwide Arena in franchise history (reg. season and playoffs), trailing only last year’s playoff games vs. Washington on Apr. 19 (19,395) and Apr. 17 (19,337).

  • Sergei Bobrovsky turned aside 30-of-31 shots to record his third-straight playoff victory.  He has stopped 69-of-71 Lightning shots over the past eight periods (.972 save percentage).
  • Matt Duchene scored for the second-straight game (2-3-5).
  • RW Oliver Bjorkstrand scored his first goal of the postseason and second of his playoffs career (2-4-6 in 14 games).  He led all players with five shots on goal.
  • Alexandre Texier recorded his first career postseason point with an assist on Bjorkstrand’s second period power play goal.  He had 1-0-1 in two regular season contests at the end of the campaign.
  • RW Cam Atkinson assisted on Duchene’s goal and added an empty net goal, giving him 2-1-3 in back-to-back games. It was the third multi-point playoff contest of his career.
  • Seth Jones tallied an assist on Bjorkstrand’s goal and has 1-1-2 in the series (both points on the power play).
  • LW Artemi Panarin notched an assist on Atkinson’s goal, giving him points in all three playoff games this series (1-3-4).
  • Scott Harrington recorded his first career playoff point with his assist on Atkinson’s goal.
  • Brandon Dubinsky led all players in faceoff win percentage tonight, winning 12 of his 14 draws (86 pct.).
