Blue Jackets back at it tonight at 7 pm hosting Chicago Blackhawks

The Columbus Blue Jackets, losers 4-1 on Monday night to the Buffalo Sabres at Nationwide Arena, will be get back on the ice tonight, hosting the always-physical Chicago Blackhawks.

Yes, the CBJ are a bit weary, but one thing about the preseason, teams have as many as 45-60 players in camp and you bring in fresh bodies each game.

The Blackhawks on the other hand are not weary at all. The Chicago Blackhawks open the 2018 preseason tonight at Columbus against the Blue Jackets. It marks the first of six preseason games for Chicago … Chicago will play three straight road games and then three straight home games.

The Blackhawks will not be bringing any of their superstar players to Columbus. Those would include Patrick Kane, Duncan Keith, Brandon Saad, Brent Seabrook and Jonathan Toews.
