Regular season champion Dayton Flyers opens A-10 Tourney play against tough, pesky Davidson Wildcats

 

A-10 TOURNAMENT QUARTERFINALS
The University of Dayton Flyers will face the Davidson Wildcats in the quarterfinals of the 2017 Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship on Friday at noon ET.  The games will be televised on NBCSN, carried by WHIO Radio and is available with live video, stats and streaming audio at DaytonFlyers.com.
Dayton, the A-10 regular season champion, is led by a quartet of seniors who cleaned up when the conference announced its end-of-the-season awards.  Kyle Davis was named Sixth Man of the Year and to the All-Defensive Team.  Scoochie Smith was a First Team All-Atlantic 10 selection.  Charles Cooke was chosen to the second team and the All-Defensive Team.  Kendall Pollard was named to the third team.
Archie Miller was selected as the A-10 Coach of the Year.

•The Wildcats are led by All-Atlantic 10 First Team selection Jack Gibbs (21.9 ppg) and Second Team All A-10 honoree Peyton Aldridge (21.0 ppg).
