Cincinnati Bengals recent roster moves

The Cincinnati Bengals made the following roster moves this week:

*Signed CB Jalen Davis from the practice squad to the active roster. Davis (5-10, 185), a first-year player out of Utah State University, originally was a college free agent signee of the Miami Dolphins in 2018. He then spent 2019 and the beginning of ’20 with the Arizona Cardinals before joining the Bengals’ practice squad on Oct. 27. He played in Games 9-10 for Cincinnati as a practice squad player elevated to the active roster for game day and has three tackles so far this season.

*Activated WR Auden Tate and C B.J. Finney to the roster from the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Both had been placed on Reserve/COVID-19 on Nov. 25. With their activations, along with Davis’ signing, Cincinnati’s roster now stands at 53 players.

*Signed QB Kevin Hogan to the practice squad. Hogan (6-3, 218), a fourth-year player out of Stanford University, originally was a college free agent signee of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016. He later spent time with the Cleveland Browns, Washington Football Team and Denver Broncos. He has played in eight career games and completed 60 of 101 passes for 621 yards, four TDs and seven INTs. He also has 18 rushes for 176 yards and another TD.
