  • Today’s loss snapped the Blue Jackets’ four-game win streak against the Hurricanes.  The club fell to 6-3-0 in the last nine home games against Carolina.
  • The winning team has now scored three or more goals in all 21 games at Nationwide Arena in the all-time series (including SO goals).
  • The Blue Jackets fell in a matinee game for the first time this season (2-1-0).
  • CBJ scored first in today’s game and have scored first in nine of the thirteen contests. 
  • The club scored two first period goals and now has scored 15 of its 35 goals in the opening 20 minutes of play.
  • Columbus has picked up points in five-of-seven home games this season.
  • It was the first time this season the Blue Jackets failed to pick up points in a one-goal game (4-1-3).  Nine of CBJ’s 13 games have been decided by a single goal (not incl. EN goals).

  • LW Nick Foligno scored his 200th NHL career goal and tallied his first multi-point game of the season (1-1-2).  He has collected points in five-of-seven home games this season (4-3-7).
  • Jack Roslovic (two assists) collected assists/points for a fourth-straight game (1-5-6).  The streaks are a new career best.
  • RW Patrik Laine scored two goals and collected his first multi-point game as a Jacket and second multi-goal game of the campaign.  He has notched goals in each of the past two games (3-0-3).
  • Seth Jones (two assists) registered his fifth point of the season and now has points in three-straight games (1-4-5). He notched his 200th point in a CBJ uniform with his second assist of the game.
  • David Savard notched his 11th career multi-assist game with two assists on the night (MR: 10/24/20 vs. CAR).
  • Riley Nash scored his first goal of the season (1-1-2 in 12 GP).
  • Scott Harrington collected an assist in his season debut.
  • Max Domi scored his second goal of the season and has points in four-of-seven home games this season (2-3-5).
