compiled from staff, wire and Dayton Dragons info

Infielder Chris Richburg and catcher Mark Fleury each connected on two-run home runs in the first inning as the Dayton Dragons defeated the Bowling Green Hot Rods 5-3 Saturday night before a crowd of 8,755 at Fifth Third Field in Dayton.

The win was the Dragons second straight in the series and lifted their record back above the .500 mark at 12-11. Bowling Green is off to a horrible start to 2010 at 5-18.

Richburg got the scoring started with a two-run blast to the left field scoreboard area in the first inning, his third homer of the year. Kevin Coddington followed with a single and Fleury lined a home run to right, his first of the year, making the score 4-0.
