It has been reported all over the internet, radio and television today that former St. Louis Rams quarterback Marc Bulger has retired after 11 NFL seasons.

After leaving the Rams after the 2009 season, Bulger spent 2010 with the Baltimore Ravens but did not play.

Bulger played in two Pro Bowls and passed for 22,814 yards, 122 touchdowns and 93 interceptions.

He threw for more than 3,800 yards three times, including a career-best 4,301 in 2006, the only season he played all 16 games.

Bulger was drafted out of West Virginia University by New Orleans in 2000, but never played for the Saints. He did become a star until Mike Martz brought him to the Rams where he eventually replaced Kurt Warner as the starting quarterback.
