The University of Minnesota campus hosted the NFL  game between the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings because a snowstorm caved-in the roof at the Metrodome last week.

Devin Hester set an NFL record with his 14th career return for a touchdown leading the Bears over the Vikings 40-14 Monday night in snowy weather.

Brett Favre, surprisingly got the start after being ruled out on Saturday’s NFL medical report due to a sprained right shoulder. Favre recovered in time to start the game, completed 5 of 7 passes for 63 yards with a touchdown and interception before getting knocked out with a head injury.

The Vikings fell to 5-9 with the loss.

The Bears move to 10-4 and clinched the NFC North Division title as Hester returned a punt 64 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter and he also caught a 15-yard touchdown pass.

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was 14 for 23 for 194 yards and three touchdowns.
