Bennett, Bell receive degrees through the Degree Completion Program
A pair of former Buckeyes received their degrees today through the athletic department’s degree completion program: Michael Bennett (consumer and family financial services) and Kelvin Bell (African-American and African Studies). Bennett played on the 2014 College Football Playoff national championship team and was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bell lettered from 1981-83 and was a member of the Buckeyes’ secondary as a safety in each of those seasons. Over 80 former football players have graduated from the 26-year-old program that provides academic and tuition support to former Ohio State student-athletes who left the university without completing their degrees.
