Ross, a Hamilton Township transfer, scored 3 touchdowns all on receptions of 20, 11 and 22 yards. Leach, scored 3 as well. One as a DB, a 50 yard INT return and the other two on runs of 47 and 2 yards.

The Scots put the Bulldogs Away 58-14 in what was supposed to be the game of the year in the City League with both teams being undefeated.

Offensively the Scots came with the game plan to run all over the Bulldogs and did they.

On the legs of Javarus Leach with his 10 carries 160 yards and 2 touchdowns and the hands of Kaveon Ross 4 receptions for 62 yards and 3 touchdowns.

South had no answer for the Scots.

On defense Walnut Ridge dominated. Whether if it was a 50 yard pick six by Leach to only allowing under 100 yards of total offense, Ronmel Robins, Dawson Clark-Croone and Davion Green-Tucker could not get their offense rolling which was averaging just about 40 points a game.

As week 8 approaches the Scots now control their own destiny for a City league championship as they take on Marion Franklin this Friday and as for the Bulldogs their playoff hopes are still alive but will need wins and help to clinch a spot in the playoffs for the first time ever.
