POSTGAME INTERVIEW WITH GAME ANALYST JOSH CASSINGER

Roadrunner Tires & Brake Player of the Game Rashaun Broomfield Whetstone 9 6 2019

The Whetstone Braves traveled to Briggs high school to take on the Bruins. The Bruins are loaded with freshman and sophomore’s with a lot of room for improvement. The Bruins played the Braves tough until Mr. do it all player Rashaun Broomfield took over. Broomfield would lead all players with 15 carries and 258 yards rushing with 3 touchdowns, Also adding 5 receptions for 102 yards and 3 touchdowns. In his six total touchdowns there was a 95 yard rushing touchdown and a 58 yard reception for a touchdown.

The bright spot for Briggs is running back/quarterback, A sophomore David Dawson. Dawson may not have had the stats Broomfield accumulated but the future is bright for the Bruins as long as Dawson can contribute on and off the field as the Bruins leader.

Next up for Whetstone is a home game against a very tough Columbus South football team. As for Briggs they have cross street rivals Franklin Heights. Kickoff is at 7 pm.
