ROADRUNNER TIRES AND BRAKE STAR OF THE GAME INTERVIEW

It was a tail of two halves as East would dominate the field position game. Average starting position for the Tigers was on the South 34 and the Bulldogs would start at the East 17. Both teams would struggle to move the football in the first half. It would be a scoreless game heading into halftime.
Midway through the third quarter the scoring would start. A 47 yard pass from quarterback Cedric Norvett to receiver Deo Samuel Pierre would set up a 15 yard quarterback scramble by Norvett to make the score 7-0. The very next drive the Bulldogs running back Dawson Clark-Croone would get to the goal line on a 23 yard run, which set up a 1 yard touchdown run by Ronmel Robinson. Robinson would find Daivion Green-Tucker for the two point conversion. After forcing a fumble, South found themselves in a 4th and 15 situation where Robinson would hit tight end Jerome Dillard on a 58 yard fake punt. After holding the Tigers to a three and out the Bulldogs would extend their lead to 22-7 after a Clark-Croone 78 yard touchdown. That ended up being the final score as the South Bulldogs beat the East Tigers 22-7.
This Friday the South Bulldogs will go on the road to take on the Panthers of Linden-McKinley and the East Tigers will head home to take on KIPP Columbus!
The Megasportsnews.com Feature Game will be the Whetstone Braves visiting the Briggs Bruins in a City League cross-division game. This will be the first appearance for both schools on the-now three year old 1st & Goal Broadcast.
