Northland visits Centennial tonight at 6:40 pm; Week 4 battle on 1ST & GOAL

1ST & GOAL moves into the North Division of the Columbus City League tonight as Northland (1-2) visits Centennial (2-1). The Vikings have one of the largest rosters in the City League with 50 players and they can wear a team down. Centennial has one of the youngest team’s in the City and they are exciting and explosive at times. Josh Cassinger and Stu Mason will call all the action starting with the pre-game show around 6:40 pm. You can LISTEN LIVE here

South Bulldogs outlasts the Panthers of Linden McKinley 40-6 on 1ST & GOAL

The head coach of the South Bulldogs George Yates II vowed to come back to his alma mater. Boy, has he started well as the Bulldogs are now 3-0 after their victory over a rebuilding Linden McKinley team. Bulldogs were led by their do-it-all, star Daquine Petty. Petty rushed for 160 yards on 12 carries added two touchdowns. Petty also added 14.5 tackles 4 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks and recovered an onside kick. Petty was clearly the leader for the Bulldogs.

What’s next for Linden McKinley and South. South will travel to Eastmoor Academy in what’s should be a fantastic game. Linden McKinley will travel to Washington Courthouse in what should be a huge road test for the Panthers.
