Matt Hagan (

Courtney Force, daughter of the legendary NHRA driver, John Force, has been dominating the Funny Car division all season long as her 1,038 points would attest to that. She is even beating her dad, who has 577 and is a distant eighth.

On Sunday, the bets were on her to win again at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk. But Matt Hagan, another top driver in the category, had another idea.

Driving his Mopar Express Lane Dodge Charger R/T, Hagan defeated Courtney in the finals to capture the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals to earn his second win of 2018. His first win at Norwalk.

Hagan is tied with Jack Beckman for second in points with 788.

McMillen is rnked sixth in the points category with 643 and Alexander is not even in the Top 10.
