FC Cincinnati 2 News: Sends Avionne Flanagan on free transfer to Charleston Battery

CINCINNATI – Avionne Flanagan has joined the Charleston Battery on a free transfer after Flanagan and FC Cincinnati 2 mutually agreed to terminate the defender’s contract.

FC Cincinnati selected Flanagan with the 29th pick in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft before sending the South Florida alum on loan with Orange County SC and FC Tulsa of the USL Championship.

Flanagan returned to Cincinnati prior to the start of the MLS NEXT Pro season, signing a contract with FCC 2. Flanagan has made 16 starts starts in 18 appearances for the 2s scoring three goals and adding one assist on the year.
