  • Columbus improved to 15-13-1 (10-3-1 at home) after tonight’s shootout as the club stretched its home points streak to six-straight games (5-0-1).
  • The Blue Jackets’ 10 wins and 21 points through the first 14 home games are tied for the most in franchise history (wins, 2016-17, 2017-18; points, 2016-17).
  • Columbus has earned its victories this season with the club coming back at some point in the game in ten of the 15 wins including tonight’s shootout win.
  • CBJ earned an NHL-high fifth win when trailing heading into the third period after trailing 3-2 tonight.
  • The Blue Jackets have scored three-plus goals in 19 of their contests this season and four-plus in 13 of them (incl. SO goals), including four of the last seven outings.  The club is 12-1-0 when scoring four goals or more in a contest this season.
  • The home team in the series improved to 9-1-1 in the last 11 games of the series, including each team winning its home game in 2021-22.

·        C Boone Jenner registered his fourth multi-point game of the season with a goal and an assist (12-7-19 in 29 GP).

·        C Alexandre Texier scored his 10th goal of the campaign and now has 3-4-7 with two multi-point games in his last seven contests (10-7-17 in 29 GP).

·        LW Patrik Laine scored his fourth goal of the season in his first game back since Nov. 3rd due to an oblique strain injury.

·        RW Jakub Voracek tallied his team-leading 22nd assist and 18th primary helper of the campaign.  He has points in eight of the last nine home games (1-7-8, overall 1-22-23 in 29 GP).

·        D Vladislav Gavrikov recorded his 12th assist of the campaign, ranking fourth on the team in helpers (2-12-14 in 29 GP).

·        D Adam Boqvist tallied an assist and has points in five of the last six home games (4-2-6, overall 6-4-10 in 19 GP).

·        LW Eric Robinson had his 126-game playing streak snapped after missing tonight’s game.  The streak dated back to Dec. 7, 2019.

·        RW Oliver Bjorkstrand saw his 84-game playing streak come to an end after missing tonight’s game.  The streak started at the beginning of the 2020-21 season.

·        G Elvis Merzlikins improved to 10-1-1 at Nationwide Arena this season.
