Bulls lose Caruso 7-10 days with left foot sprain

Alex Caruso

The upstart Bulls have been attempting to stay afloat amidst a COVID-19 outbreak that’s limited their roster options, and they announced Wednesday guard Alex Caruso would miss 7-10 days with a left foot sprain initially suffered during Monday’s game vs. the Rockets.

The 6-foot-4 Caruso signed with the Bulls in August, following a four-year stint with the Lakers, who initially inked him to a two-way contract coming out of the 2017 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. He’s been averaging 8.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists, shooting 44.8% overall, including 36.4% from long range.
