NFL suspends Bengals RB/WR Anthony “Pooka” Williams 2 games

Cincinnati Bengals kick returner/ wide receiver/running back Anthony “Pooka” Williams has received a two-game suspension for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.

According to various news reports, the rookie will be suspended without pay until January 3.

After going undrafted out of Kansas, Williams signed with the Bengals as a free agent back this past May.

The Bengals elevated him from the practice squad where he made his NFL debut in the Week 13 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers where he served as the team’s primary kick returner.

He cannot be used again by the Bengals until Week 18 at the Cleveland Browns.
