Blue Jackets assign Seven Players to Cleveland Monsters

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned seven players to the Cleveland Monsters, the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, General Manager & Alternate Governor Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.  

The following players were assigned: forwards Tyler Angle, Josh Dunne, Brendan Gaunce, Carson Meyer and Tyler Sikura.  In addition, the club released forwards Tristan Mullin and Justin Scott from their pro tryout contracts and have returned both players to Cleveland.

The Blue Jackets open their 21st regular season vs. the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday, October 14.  Game time from Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. ET.
