KEY POINTS

• New York City FC marked their
return to Yankee Stadium with a
resounding 5-0 victory over Orlando
City SC last weekend. Dating back
to last season, NYCFC has
outscored opponents 16-3 in the
last four matches at Yankee
Stadium scoring five goals on three
occasions.
• NYCFC is the only team in the
league with three players in the top
20 of scoring (Jesus Medina, Ismael
Tajouri-Shradi and Valentin
Castellanos). Medina’s match
winner against Orlando set a new
MLS career high (7) for the
Paraguayan.
• Luis Barraza kept his second
consecutive clean sheet as Sean
Johnson continues to be away at
the Gold Cup. The 2019 1st Round
SuperDraft selection was between
the sticks last time these two met in
a 2-1 loss.
• Third time hopes to be a charm for
NYCFC against the reigning
champions. The past two matches
have changed on set pieces.
Columbus midfielder Lucas
Zelarayan has three goals from
direct free kicks in the two matches.
