Blue Jackets make roster moves; Goaltender Joonas Korpisalo to miss rest of season with lower body injury

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have made several moves, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced Tuesday.

The Blue Jackets have recalled forward Liam Foudy from the American Hockey League’s Cleveland Monsters and added goaltender Matiss Kivlenieks to the roster on emergency conditions from the taxi squad.  Goaltender Daniil Tarasov has been added to the team’s taxi squad from the Monsters.  In addition, forward Cliff Pu has been assigned from the taxi squad to Cleveland.

The club also announced that goaltender Joonas Korpisalo will miss the rest of the season with a lower body injury.  The netminder suffered the injury in the third period of Sunday’s game at Tampa Bay.
