Michigan Athletics issues update on COVID-19 Testing Results

Below please find updated data for U-M Athletics related to student-athlete return-to-campus and COVID-19 testing through tests of this week, April 23.

Latest testing updates as of April 23

Total individuals (student-athletes + coaches/ staff) tested between April 17-23: 2,001
Positive test results between April 17-23: 2 (2 student-athletes, 0 staff)

Complete testing data since June 11 (as of April 23)

Student-athlete tests for COVID-19, to date (all tests): 81,086
Positive Tests: 342

Staff member tests: 26,846
Positive tests: 59

Total tests administered (student-athletes + coaches/ staff): 105,574
Positive tests: 401

Total PCR+ Percentage = 0.37%
Student-Athlete PCR+ Percentage = 0.42%

Please note that the overall number of tests and positive results will not necessarily equal the sum of this week’s update plus the figures give in prior weeks’ updates. This is due to the number and timing of surveillance tests being conducted, and reflective of the fact that some test results lag behind others.

    Hi, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your website in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, fantastic blog!
