COLUMBUS, OH — The Columbus Blue Jackets will salute those who have served or are currently serving in the nation’s armed forces during the club’s annual Military Appreciation Night, presented by Elk + Elk, on Tuesday, April 27 when the club hosts the Detroit Red Wings at Nationwide Arena.  Game time is 7 p.m. ET.

The evening will feature special in-game presentations, including the National Anthem being performed by Senior Master Sergeant Eric Rine of the US Air Force Reserve, and a military salute highlighting the story of three generations of the Montgomery family, whose members served from World War II to the Korean War to Operation Desert Storm.  The Blue Jackets also will host members of the 121st Air Refueling Crew from Rickenbacker Air Force Base and their families as part of an ongoing relationship with the 121st ARW of the Ohio National Guard to customize a KC 135 Refueler with the Blue Jackets logo.
